RUMBLE IN READING
Sovereign Center
Reading, Penn.
Apr. 1, 2005

Chris Jericho def. Funaki

Kyle Adams def. David Young

(Buff Bagwell comes out and cuts a promo on both of his matches at No Escape. He guarantees a victory in both, much to the disapproval of the crowd. He can't believe their reaction. Just to prove them wrong, he challenges Lance Storm to a one-on-one match tonight, as a No Escape preview, after the main event.)

Ravage def. Rick Fuller

Riptide def. B. J. Payne

The Ultimate Warrior def. Mike Modest

(Before the next match started, Mr. Perfect spoke on his opponents in the upcoming Fatal Four-Way at No Escape to determine the PWF Intercontinental Championship. He went as far as to say that he could pin all three men if he had to but then says that two men are going to be fortunate because it's only going to take one Perfect-Plex. He claims to be the "perfect champion" before tossing the microphone away.)

Mr. Perfect (with Bobby Heenan and Rick Rude) def. Brutus Beefcake

Non-title match
PWF Television Champion Buff Bagwell def. Glacier

(After the match, Bagwell gets on the microphone and demands Storm come out to face him. It was well-known to most people that Storm wasn't even in attendance, but Bagwell continued to call him out. Storm's music suddenly kicked in. Bagwell looks concerned, but nobody comes out. The music cuts off and Bagwell laughs hysterically before saying "April Fool's, fools! Did you think Lancey Boy was going to accept my challenge!?" The crowd boos and begins to throw trash into the ring. Suddenly, over the PA system, "I'll accept it!" is heard as Riptide comes barreling to the ring. The crowd erupts as Bagwell and Riptide exchange blows. Riptide ends up getting the better of Bagwell and knocks him clean out of the ring. Riptide finds Bagwell's Television title belt and holds it high in the air. Bagwell back-pedals up the aisle, yelling at Riptide as the show concludes.)
