Mr. Perfect, Chris Jericho granted unconditional releases
Nov. 7, 2006

In what truly registers as one of the most shocking moments in PWF history, ThePWF.com has just received word that both Mr. Perfect and The Undefeatable Chris Jericho have been granted unconditional releases from their contracts by Mr. Bischoff. This news comes at a most unusual time, as just six days ago it was Mr. Perfect who defeated Excellence to end the Franchise Player's career at WrestleFest II. Who knew the end of the rope for the other two Perfect Team figureheads would follow so soon?

Mr. Bischoff has not issued any statements addressing the releases of two of the most important wrestlers of the modern era.

Mr. Perfect has seven World Championships to his name, including two Professional Wrestling Federation titles. His mat-classics over the years with the likes of Del Wilkes, Taz, Lance Storm, and Stevie Richards will not be forgotten anytime soon. The Undefeatable Chris Jericho, whose undefeated record became his calling card, is fresh off of a WrestleFest II victory over Dangerous Del Wilkes and, during his time in the PWF, he has added many more memorable moments to his already unforgettable career -- most notably with Kimona Wanalaya. Jericho has 16 championships etched on his title-laden legacy. Perhaps most prominently, Perfect and Jericho will forever be remembered as the two constants in the Perfect Team.

Many questions remain unanswered. What is the reason for these releases? What happens to Mr. Perfect's Professional Wrestling Federation Championship? What happens to the Perfect Team now? Will Mr. Perfect and Chris Jericho address the fans on Thursday Thrillzone one last time? Have we seen the last of these two locks for the PWF Hall of Fame? All of these questions will most likely be answered on Thrillzone in Detroit, Mich., but if ThePWF.com receives any updates on this shocking story, you'll be the first to know.
