::James Ace steps up to the podium decked out in a black suit with a PWF logo on the breast-pocket. The PWF Championship belt rests on the front of the podium, just in front of the sea of microphones. The media's flashbulbs start to go off as he starts to speak.::

Ace:
Before I start, I want to make it clear that I will be taking no questions. I will be addressing several issues with you today, so please bare with me. Just a few hours ago, I received word from local authorities in Los Angeles, California, that former SCW, NOWF, and HWA superstar Sean Gunn was involved in a horrible motorcycle accident. No other vehicles were involved, and alcohol was not a factor in the crash. The cause appears to be mechanical failure. Sean suffered several lacerations, both internal and external. He also appears to have suffered significant damage to his spinal cord. I hope you will join me in wishing him a speedy recovery.

::Ace shifts some papers on the podium and continues.::

Ace:
Moving on, it has come to my attention that my proposal to settle the current lawsuit pending between the PWF and VCW has been rejected by both parties. I believe that these decisions were made in haste, so my offer is still on the table. As I look into this crowd, I see that some of my fellow PWF competitors have decided to join us. I also see some members of the Board of Directors. Since I have this opportunity, I will show you that my intentions are serious.

::Ace picks up the PWF Championship and holds it over his head.::

Ace:
This is the richest prize in our industry today. However, if my proposal is accepted, I will vacate the PWF Championship and remove myself from the active roster of the Professional Wrestling Federation.

::The crowd starts firing a barrage of questions and statements to Ace. The flashbulbs once again start going off. Ace holds up his hand, and the crowd begins to settle.::

Ace:
I'm not finished. If I were to take an active role as majority-owner of the PWF, in the interest of fairness I would, of course, step down. In doing so, these would be my first two orders of business: First, I would ask that the Board of Directors appoint Jim Ross, the current PWF Commissioner, to the position of Vice President of Operations. Jim knows this business, and I believe that he would not only excel in this new role but also bring a fair and just voice that the PWF sorely needs. I would also propose a match for the vacant PWF Championship the likes of which has never been seen before. The participants? Every single member of the PWF roster. That's right -- you would ALL get your chance to be the next champion!

::Cheers come from those who attended.::

Ace:
The terms and details of this match will only be revealed if my proposal is accepted. I can reveal that there would be two superstars who would receive a "bye" and thus be subject not to compete in one of the phases of this contest. Those two superstars would be ... John Cena ... ::mixed reaction:: ... and Raven.

::Gasps of shock are heard throughout the crowd as Ace continues.::

Ace:
I believe that I've shown plenty of good faith and given you every reason to accept these terms. As for VCW, I will sweeten the deal for you, as well. Along with the cash settlement for the current lawsuit, I will also provide a portion of the PWF's assets to VCW. This will be part of a new revenue-sharing plan in which both parties could co-exist and share the wealth of each other's profits, both from current programming and the sales of archived materials. This is my vision and my plan to get back to the basics of our business. It's time for us to get back into the ring and back to what we all know and love. I want to put you back to work! Eric Bischoff had a lot to say, mostly making things worse for himself and the PWF. I know that cannot sit well with the Board. As for Christian, I've seen your video. I'm willing to put the past behind us, and I'll make sure you get exactly what you deserve. If you want the PWF to be taken to new heights, to begin a new era, then let your voice be heard. I ask that you petition the Board of Directors to consider my offer and take immediate action in this matter. Thank you, and I look forward to working with you in bringing the PWF to new heights.

::Ace grabs the PWF Championship and throws it over his shoulder as he leaves the podium. The media follows him, trying to ask him questions. Ace ignores them as he gets into a long, black limousine. The car speeds away.::
