Inside Scoop: Raven offers Taz "last chance at destiny"
Aug. 29, 2007
Scoop Scoopson- Good evening, PWF fans. It is I, Scoop Scoopson, with ThePWF.com Breaking News brought to you by Zima. Zima: getting underage girls drunk since 1992. Just minutes ago, the Raven sent to
ThePWF.com a grainy, webcam video via e-mail with the strict instructions to place this on the
Web as soon as technologically possible. So, at this time, we'd like to ask you to click on the
"play" button of your computer video player and to remember to purchase Zima at your Butch's
liquor stores, with seven locations in the New Bedford/Fall River area outlets. Thank you.
This has been Scoop Scoopson.
(Scene opens with the Raven in an alley somewhere in Madrid, leaning against an old brick building, next to a side door entrance. The Raven is wearing a long trench coat, black in color, and his hair covers his face.)
Raven- I said in June that I would stand up and call this man out, no matter my standing in the PWF, may it be champion, challenger, or
god. And I said I would do it until I received an answer, something I have yet to receive. This man has been silent for these past three months and, in a sick twist of events, his silence has only made himself all the more relevant, for silence is the preferred action of most PWF superstars these days. His relevance sickens me, and yet I stand here and I still ask the question:
(The Raven pauses.)
When will Taz answer me?
(He jumps from his leaning situation and marches towards the camera.)
Taz, you want to end your career like this?
(The focus turns more grainy. The Raven's face is more of shape than has features.)
We've never had THE match, Taz, and you want to end your career like this? You know what, Taz?
In the past, I've tried to appeal to the prideful side you have, and I've tried to get it through your brain that you're less of a man for being cowardly, but I'm quickly coming to the realization that you don't give a sh*t about your pride any longer... so now I'm gonna play a different game.
(The Raven takes a step back.)
Taz, are you really gonna end your career like this, when you have the biggest payday left sitting on the table? For every great wrestler ALWAYS has that one last payday staring them in the face, it's only a matter of coming to grips and the facing of fears. Taz, understandably, you feel like you're not in my league anymore, but the mere fact that the PWF has set aside millions of dollars for the possibility that you may agree to my challenge should answer any doubts you may have. All the times you showed up to work unfit to perform? Forgotten. The times you no-showed television tapings? Forgotten. All the times you no-showed pay-per-views? It's ALL in the past, Taz. You could be a millionaire, twice over... again, you just have to answer my challenge by saying
"yes, Raven, I will sign on the dotted line." Eric Bischoff has the paper work, and he can fax it over to Johnny Asterix, day or night, 24-7. Taz, you just have to realize that this... is your last chance at destiny. Once the offer is off the table, it is off the table forever, and then I begrudgingly stand in the middle of the ring and announce the winner of our feud to be I, the Raven, Main Event of Main Events, and the greatest wrestler to come from Worcester, Massachusetts, and the NOWF as a company. I'm just not f*cking around anymore.
(He pauses to soak in what he just said.)
Like I said, once the offer is off the table, it's off the table forever, and on October 3, at
Road To Perdition, I take the offer off and I rip it in-half and I say "Taz, you failed me for the last time," as there will be no next week, next month... or next time. You won't get your money, you won't get your pride back, and you wouldn't have won our
10-year-long feud. Taz, this is it. I... will... be... waiting.
(The Raven turns and walks away, back through the side door as the screen fades to death.)
