Raven must choose partner, face consequences
Dec. 4, 2008

The wrestling world has been abuzz since Raven won the World Tag Team Championship at Wargames: The 100th Episode. The shocking arrival of Bobby Heenan on the program was the catalyst that started it all, but it will be Raven that must choose how it ends. ThePWF.com has learned that Raven will have to make a critical choice on the matter ... one that will impact his opportunities not only at Nuclear Frost but in the months that follow!

It's not clear why former PWF president Bobby Heenan still has some power, but all that is certain is that he indeed has made a decision that was confirmed by multiple sources to be official. Mr. Heenan has guaranteed a full explanation at Nuclear Frost for what is going on and why he's still here.

As of this announcement, it has been decided that Raven will need to choose between either PWF Champion Christian or Stone Cold Steve Austin to be his partner in holding the World Tag Team Championship. The choice was quoted to be "fair" by Bobby Heenan since both men were there to help Raven win the contest against The Triple Threat. However, his decision will have a reward ... and a consequence.

If Raven chooses Stone Cold Steve Austin as his partner to hold the titles, Raven will not be allowed to be drawn into the main event at Nuclear Frost, but he will get a guaranteed one-on-one title shot at King of the Ring against whoever walks out of Nuclear Frost as the Federation Champion. If Steve Austin becomes PWF Champion before KOR, Raven would not be allowed to challenge for the title while Austin is the title-holder.

If Raven selects the current PWF Champion, Christian, as his partner, Raven will be guaranteed a spot in the Triple Threat match at Nuclear Frost. He will not, however, be allowed another shot at the title for 90 days if he does not win the PWF Championship at Nuclear Frost. Further contact with Christian during that 90-day period will also be prohibited, warranting severe consequences if violated.

The choice is up to Raven at this point. Clearly, he would like to choose someone that isn't named Steve Austin or Christian, but he doesn't have the luxury of that choice today. Can he take the risk of not being able to get his hands on Christian for 90 days, just when a new “blood feud” might be brewing in the PWF? This choice satisfies the need for revenge but has a drastic consequence if Raven can't win at Nuclear Frost. Or, is Raven patient enough to wait for a potential one-on-one match with Christian, with nobody else to interfere in the proceedings? If Raven goes this route, he may not get Christian at all if somebody else leaves Nuclear Frost with the gold.

Check back here for any response Raven might have on his selection, and tune into PWF programming in case he makes the news public in a live promotional address in the coming week. And, of course, make sure to order PWF Nuclear Frost, which will air LIVE from Las Vegas, Nev., on Dec. 10!
