ThePWF.com has learned that the National Football League has
reached out to the Professional Wrestling Federation. According to reports, negotiations are ongoing to bring The Triple Threat's core members -- Shane Douglas,
Lance Storm, and Diamond Dallas Page -- to Super Bowl XLIII to perform the
official coin toss.
Just who The Triple Threat's potential coin toss would affect is to be determined this Sunday. The AFC Championship will be decided when the
Pittsburgh Steelers host the Baltimore Ravens. Pittsburgh had a 12-4 regular season; the Ravens finished up at 11-5. The NFC Champions will be crowned
in Glendale, Ariz., when the Arizona Cardinals (9-7 regular season) host the Philadelphia Eagles (9-6-1 regular season).
The 43rd Super Bowl will kick off in Tampa, Fla., on Feb. 1.
