From the Desk of Mr. Eric Bischoff
Due to the violent attack by Mr. Perfect to close last night's Wargames, a
decision had to be made on just who was going to be the next person to face Mr.
Perfect for the Intercontinental Championship. After careful consideration, a
decision was reached.
Since Mr. Perfect apparently took it upon himself to control his future, I feel
like I have no other choice but to turn his assault into a positive for
everyone involved. Since he didn't allow either man to win the contest,
I am officially announcing BOTH Stevie Richards and Riptide as the No. 1
contenders to the PWF Intercontinental Championship.
So, at WrestleFest on Nov. 2, it's going to be the PWF's Intercontinental Champion, Mr.
Perfect, in a Triple Threat match with the bWo's Stevie Richards and Team R's
Riptide. Should be a hell of a match.
Perfect? Nice try, but no cigar. Good luck, champ.
