From the Desk of Mr. Eric Bischoff
Nov. 14, 2005
As promised, I have decided to break the silence about the "wild card" aspect
of our upcoming pay-per-view spectacular, Nuclear Frost, right here on ThePWF.com.
On Dec. 7 in beautiful Denver, Colo., the PWF will present Nuclear
Frost on a night where the very foundation of the PWF could change. What do I
mean by that? Well, that's where the "wild card" comes into play.
There will be NO matches, not a single one, announced prior to Nuclear Frost
hitting the air. NO man will know his opponent ahead of
time. You see, this gets very interesting because NO champion will know his challenger, either. And vice-versa. Obviously, all
titles will be on-the-line, as well.
Rest assured that EVERY man on the PWF roster will have a match. EVERY
superstar will appear. How are opponents determined, you ask?
Simple.
Backstage, moments before a match is scheduled to take place, names will be
drawn. And through that, matches will be set. If I've decided a Fatal Four-Way will
occur for the Intercontinental Championship -- and I have decided on no match
formats at this time -- then literally less than five minutes before the match
the four men will be informed that they will compete in that very match.
You can see the intrigue; you can see the possibilities. If a superstar wants
to take it easy that week and not hit the gym or not prepare for ANY and EVERYbody, then they'll lose.
I'll leave you with this: what if Team SEC is forced to compete against one
another? What if Mr. Perfect must face The Undefeatable Chris Jericho? What if
the Thrillers must go head-to-head? They will have no choice but to do so.
Nuclear Frost, as you can see, has the potential to re-shape the landscape of
the Professional Wrestling Federation in a way no other pay-per-view to-date
could.
And I hope it does.
One other note: Lance Storm's violent interruption in the Matt Bentley/Dusty
Rhodes/Loser Leaves the PWF match only did me a favor. It allowed me to give
both men their walking papers.
