Raven's third reign as PWF Champion would prove to be his longest and most impressive reign in the federation. He initially thwarted off Shane Douglas and Christian at
King of the Ring in a Total Elimination match, and then he continued his Blood Feud with Douglas over the next few months with a string of victories that culminated in
a rather large exclamation point in the Doomsday Cage at No Escape. The
Franchise likely wasn't finished with Raven, but the title shot the next month had been set in stone for quite some time ... and that honor would go to Christian. He may have wanted to initially face a different man at
Power Trip, leaving a long-standing challenge open to the long-retired
Mr. Perfect, but after what had transpired over the months with Raven, Christian
was more than happy to face the PWF Champion. In the return of the Wild Card match, Christian and Raven both tried to play the political game, but, in the end, it would be decided in the ring when Christian reversed out of the Even Flow and dropped Raven with an Unprettier to capture the
Federation Championship for a second time. Christian was once again on top of the mountain after nearly
five months.
