When Nuclear Frost came
around, PWF Extreme Champion Jack "The Hammer" Jones was completely in the dark as to who his seven opponents would be or even what
sort of match his title would be contested in due to the unpredictability of the
Lethal Lottery. The world all learned together that it would be a First Blood match, and
among the competitors in the bout were the No. 1 Contender to the PWF
Championship, Mike Sanders; the on-the-rise D-Von Dudley; and the first-ever
Extreme Champion in Riptide. Sanders -- either feeling the match was beneath him
or, more than likely, looking to protect his upcoming Federation title shot from an
injury -- walked out. The Hammer, though, was under heavy fire from his other
challengers, and it was Riptide who drew first blood on an opponent, sending the
Extreme title back home to Team R.
