Booker T was enjoying his first title reign in the PWF, but when it comes to the Television Championship, there are always challengers waiting to dethrone you on any given week. At Apocalypse, a month-and-a-half into Booker's reign, a new challenger appeared: "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel. A former bodyguard to Mike Flynn, he was now a prominent member of the New Breed and was determined to be a force in the PWF. At Apocalypse, Diesel came to the ring with a purpose, and he shocked the world, winning the first championship of his career by dropping Booker with the Jackknife. It was a grueling contest that took a lot out of both men, but Diesel was now the new champion and now a legitimate force in the Professional Wrestling Federation.
