KURT ANGLE PWF Television Champion Feb. 9, 2009 - Apr. 6, 2009
Edge was no stranger to lengthy title reigns, and he was on his way to another one after winning the Television Championship for the third time at WrestleFest IV. After nearly winning the PWF Championship at King of the Ring in a classic with Steve Austin, Edge relinquished the Television title on Jan. 19, stating that he is not a man that can lose and still "call himself champion." As a result, a mini-tournament was set up for Aggression, pitting former Television Champions and contenders alike against each other to decide the new title-holder. Kurt Angle would defeat The Spoiler in a Submission match to open things, and then watched as Jonny Marksman no-showed an Inferno match with Booker T. It seemed like a disadvantage for Angle to wrestle Booker, who hadn't wrestled at all, but he stepped into the Ladder match final and nailed an Olympic Slam off the ladder to lay Booker out. Angle climbed up to retrieve the gold and once again be Television Champion.
