Both Television Champion W.M.C's crew and Booker T's tag team partner, Dean Malenko, were banned from ringside for their title match at Extreme Warfare. Due to that, everyone witnessed a clean, back-and-forth contest that saw Booker T in bad shape after missing a Missile Dropkick. The Working Man's Champion looked to quickly take advantage and set Booker up for his patented Crucifix Powerbomb, but Booker slipped out and nailed a Harlem Sidekick for the victory. W.M.C's crew would hit the ring almost immediately, but the new Television Champion would escape through the crowd with his newly won title.
