Surviving WrestleFest with any championship is an admirable task, and that is exactly what the Triple Threat managed to do
when they defeated the Decline of Civilization and the team of Jonny Marksman &
Shane McMahon in a Triple Threat match. A huge surprise during the contest revealed McMahon and Barry Wright (known better as legendary superstar Excellence) actually being on the side of the Triple Threat, easily securing them the win. Retaining the titles that night, as masterfully planned as it was, would not do much to stop what would happen
about two week later. On what new PWF president Lance Storm dubbed Wargames: The 100th Episode, his first night in his new position would prove to be maybe the toughest in his tenure.
After a returning Bobby Heenan threw his own wrenches into the plans of the Triple Threat, a blockbuster
Six-Man Tag Team match was signed to main event the show, pitting PWF Champion Christian, Raven, and Steve Austin against the Triple Threat
with all titles at stake. The Threat brought with them both the Intercontinental and World
Tag Team Championship, so they had a lot to lose if things went wrong ... and they did.
Raven would pin Dallas Page -- a prelude to a nasty feud yet to come -- and, in
doing so, won both halves of the World Tag Team Championship. The titles would soon
have to be defended at the upcoming Nuclear Frost event, and it was discovered that Raven would have to reveal who his partner would be before the show. The choice would be shocking.
