SHANE DOUGLAS & DALLAS PAGE World Tag Team Champions Sept. 3, 2008 - Nov. 21, 2008
While a shocking and unlikely series of events led to Chris Benoit and Johnny Walker becoming World Tag Team Champions, the road would not be easy for them. Walker and Benoit had been feuding with the
Triple Threat for weeks, with problems escalating to the point of the Threat putting dog collars on the champions. The humiliating act led to a Winners Take All match being signed,
pitting the World Tag Team Champions against PWF Intercontinental Champion Shane Douglas and
PWF Television Champion Dallas Page at Fall Battle Fields, with an
additional stipulation being added to the contest. The match would be decided by which team could put a dog collar on the opposing team first. Walker was the first to
retrieve a collar from a pole. While he did this, the Threat members took him out with a heinous assault, which left only Benoit to fend for himself. This would prove crucial, and after Benoit was dropped with a Perfect Plunge, he was easy pickings to have the collar wrapped around his neck. The Triple Threat were once again holders of the World Tag Team
Championship, recapturing them a little more than five months after losing them.
