Two weeks after winning both halves of the World Tag Team Championship at Recoil, Shane Douglas would reveal to the world who his tag team partner would be during his record fourth reign
as champion. There was little doubt that a Triple Threat member would be the selection, but the recent arrival of Bam Bam Bigelow into the
Threat left some debate. Douglas, however, went with "Diamond" Dallas Page, a
man he had already held the titles with twice before. The Franchise informed the wrestling world that the team of Douglas and Page "manhandled" the tag team division before and
forecasted that they'd do it again. Considering their track record, there was no
reason to believe differently.
